God’s Word is God’s Word. True. Reliable. Faithful. Historical. His Story about Him and His People.

But like any story, God’s Story can be told umpteen different ways. And it has been. That’s why there are different “versions” or “translations” of God’s Word. The NIV (New International Version), the NASB (New American Standard Bible), the Message Bible, the ESV (English Standard Version), the KJV (King James Version)…and the list could go on and on…. You say “Which one should I use?” I say “The one you’ll read and heed.” Better a little bit of God’s Word obeyed than a lot of it you don’t understand and don’t enjoy reading.
